Gateway to America
Following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, in March 2024, international construction group WeBuild, together with design office CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati and French consulting engineer and designer Michel Virlogeux, have unveiled the first proposal for a replacement bridge.
The design, which follows a cable-stayed approach that would redefine the entrance to the historic Baltimore Harbor and restore a lasting symbol of the city, improves several functional characteristics of the old bridge, including features that will enhance safety and long-term adaptability. By enlarging the bridge’s main span from 1200 ft to 2230 ft (700 m), the primary support pillars will be situated in very shallow water (a depth of approximately 23 ft), well away from the navigation channel used by large vessels. This approach aims to ensure that accidents such as the one that occurred last March, causing the former bridge to collapse, will not happen again.

PAM Hotel - Nice
PAM HOTEL – NICE by MAISON MALAPERT
The way of life in Nice is unique. Nowhere else in France has quite this gentle approach, or these pastel colours that decorate the historic buildings of the old town. Or this open-air lifestyle, the only horizon a wash of azure blue.
Or these exciting new venues and hidden gems. For a place that offers a similar lifestyle to Nice, look at Los Angeles. In California, the world’s coolest place, with its own iconic, vintage style.
CALIFORNIA DREAMIN’
Pam Hotel aims to pay homage to these two complimentary ways of living. By having fun with neon, with board sports, with colours on the plate and a healthy lifestyle, the Pam offers a chance to live life as you imagined it could be, in this brand-new venue situated at the heart of one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in the city of Nice.
Nobody enters the Pam Hotel by chance. A waxed pink concrete ramp acts as an extension of the street, conducting guests and inquisitive passers-by to the reception d ...

The room, as the minimumtypological unit of architecture,is the starting point for thisproject. An investigation intothe possibilities that spatialsystems have in the dissolutionof domestic conventions. Alqueria in Alboraia
The orchard of Valencia and the towns that surround it, such as Alboraia, are one of the most interesting spaces from the point of view of food sovereignty and make up a space that has been declared SIPAM, a protected agricultural space declared by the FAO. The orchard that surrounds and envelops the city of Valencia was one of the reasons for the designation of Valencia as Green European Green Capital 2024. We cannot talk about traditional architecture and our project without first presenting in which area the building that is the object of our study is located, project and work.
This building, originally a farmer's house in the early twentieth century, after being abandoned as a residential use, become a multiple uses building that had been disfiguring and disrupting its original morphology, forming a mixture of construction systems that were very difficult to fit in a contemporary home. However, it did offer us a chance, which was the leitmotif of the project and finally of the hous ...
The Lana and The Lana Residences
The Lana and The Lana Residences, Dorchester Collection, is a new luxury hotel and residential property commissioned by leading luxury real estate developer OMNIYAT and managed by Dorchester Collection. Situated on the edge of the Marasi Marina between downtown Dubai and the Dubai Design District, this new waterfront is set to become a major luxury lifestyle destination in the city. The new development will sit at the heart of a 12-kilometre waterfront promenade featuring floating villas and an extensive yacht berth.
The seven vertical gardens across the development are the environmental and social focus of the design. Each garden creates a new lifestyle experience enriching the lives of the guests and residents. The entire building is lifted off the ground to create a visual connection between the marina and the approach road, while creating a landscaped public space in the middle of the site. The waterfront edge is animated by shops, restaurants and cafés that line the new promenade, ...

Privacy and Curtains
Located just a three-minute walk from a subway station in a commercial area dense with mid-to-high-rise buildings, this residential complex is built. The standardized apartment layouts in the real estate market are repeatedly used regardless of the surrounding environment. As a result, in places where it is difficult to secure privacy, curtains remain closed day and night. The continuity between the interior spaces and the balconies is compromised, undermining the spatial role of the balconies.
Picture Window
In response to this situation, we designed a residential complex with the "most closed" facade. An open ratio minimum has been set for the balconies, which are not included in the floor area calculations. According to this threshold, the facade features a checkerboard pattern of square and rectangular "picture windows" cut out from the white cuboidal volume. This semi-indoor balcony extends the interior space by about 2 meters, creating a room-like area. The ...
GEORGE ORWELL APARTMENT
After being part of the five-year redesign, restoration, rebuilding and renovation of this historic building, which dates from 1769, Daniel Rotmensch Studio and its partner company CULTO Interior Design were commissioned by the buyer of the penthouse apartment to complete the decoration and styling.
Key to the project’s success was the vision shared between the client and the design team of creating a gentle contrast between the original architectural features, such as timber beams, and contemporary interior design with clean lines and curves.
Glass-panel walls maximize natural light, enhanced by unobstructive elements such as slimline wardrobes. A natural colour palette emerges from the untreated materials used: grey marble, brass, terracotta and teak, broken by select elements such as the blue Nordic-style sofa. The look and feel is of a timeless oasis in the heart of the city.
Outside, the 125 sqm terrace with is a home-within-a-home where the clients can cook, dine, relax, shower a ...
Wave - Mirror & Shelf :: Behance
WAVEWave is a multifunctional object that seamlessly blends the mirror with shelving. With a modular design approach this can be arranged in multiple layouts according to user needs or space limitations. What's interesting about Wave is the possibility of placing your objects in an unobtrusive way, keeping the mirror main functionality. Having both top and bottom sections for displaying items is also a plus and gives users the freedom and playfulness to decor.Although Wave might fit in any room this would work great near the entrance of any home, offering plenty of convenience.
Project E Beauty / Embracing Softness
“Inspiration for the design was drawn from elements of nature, skins, and softness, which informed the colour palette, rounded geometries, and unique details.” — Kenny Kinugasa-Tsui, co-founder of Bean Buro
“This soothing narrative allowed the design to incorporate abstract wall patterns, custom door handles, and delicate touches of colour throughout the space.” — Lorène Faure, co-founder of Bean Buro
The Brief: Sculpting a Comfortable and Inspiring Oasis
We were approached by our client, Project E Beauty, to create a transformative workplace design that prioritised comfort, inspiration, and sophistication at their Hong Kong operational site. Located in an industrial area, the desired space had to accommodate an open plan working environment while addressing the spatial requirements for a welcoming lounge, pantry, boardroom, meeting room, concealed storage room, and a photography space.

House Three
It is the third of a total of six residences planned in 2016 through a master plan that encompasses not only housing but also amenities and green spaces at the center of the complex.
Set in a block near the sea, the dwelling rests on the blurred boundary between Ostende–the most densely populated area of the city and mostly occupied by the working class- and Mar de Ostende, a tourist area which acts as a bellows between the sea and the city itself. A border or edge condition among these two areas is generated not only in terms of the perception of security and privacy but also in the clash between the ‘rushed life’ of workers and the ‘slow world’ of those who are on vacations.
From a topographic perspective, the lot features a slope of 3.00 more from the street at the front and the rear section of the lot; a conditioning factor that adds to the ‘self-restriction’ of the Master plan, where the center of the block is designated as an expansion space. Therefore, closing off to the ...
